Edge Parks

Edge Parks are several small parks planned on the grounds of Pinelake Co-op.  The sites include the banks of a good-sized spring-fed pond, the banks of a small stream, and other areas around the edges of the property.  These areas are mowed now, or overgrown with a tangle of invasive plants.  We want to remove the invasives, and plant native trees, shrubs, and flowers appropriate to the water, sun, and soil conditions of each spot.  These parks will then be available for the enjoyment of all Pinelake residents and their friends.  They will also improve the botanical health of our neighborhood and our town, and planting and tending them will provide exercise and enjoyment for kids of all ages.
