STEPS is looking to fill five volunteer positions:

(All are ex-officio board positions, and any two of these—or the

grant writing alone—could be combined as an internship.)

STEPS for Kids needs:

Gardening equipment: small and large gloves, rakes, hoes, shovels, trowels, watering cans, hoses, wheelbarrows, a spray tank, and mulch.
High School or college students who want to earn their community service hours running our phone recycling program.
Educators who can introduce environmental and native landscaping principles to children and answer questions.
Volunteers to help with the work in the planting seasons.

Continue to offer educational and environmental programs for at-risk children and their families.
